Regal Jewellers’ Akshayanidhi Plus vs. Regalia : Kerala

Regal Jewellers’ Akshayanidhi vs. Regalia: Which Savings Plan is Right for You?

Regal Jewellers offers two popular savings schemes for gold buyers: the Regalia Zero Percent Making Charge Plan and the Akshayanidhi Plus Scheme. Both plans provide a great way to invest in gold jewelry with flexible payments, but they cater to different needs and preferences. Here's a breakdown of both plans to help you decide which is the best for you.

Regalia Zero Percent Making Charge Plan:

How It Works: This plan allows you to purchase gold jewelry with no making charges after completing an 11-month installment plan. At the end of the term, you can choose from Regal Jewellers’ collection of gold and diamond jewelry without any additional making charges.

Eligibility: Available to individuals 18 years and above.

Duration & Payments: The plan is for a fixed duration of 11 months. You need to make a minimum monthly payment of ₹1,000 (with increments of ₹500), ensuring you complete all payments on time to enjoy the benefits. Payments can be made via cash, debit/credit cards, or online transfer.

Benefits: Once you’ve completed your payments, you can redeem your gold jewelry with zero making charges on all gold jewelry, and enjoy up to 30% discount on making charges for diamond, precious, 18ct, Atelier, and uncut ornaments.

Conditions:

  • Payments must be made on time to avoid disqualification from benefits.
  • Redemption must be done at Regal Jewellers branches in Kerala.
  • Failure to make payments within the specified period will result in loss of benefits, and you can only redeem the amount paid.

Akshayanidhi Plus Scheme:

How It Works: The Akshayanidhi Plus Scheme enables you to accumulate gold weight by making simple monthly payments for 11 months. After the term ends, you can redeem your gold with no making charges, offering significant savings on your jewelry.

Eligibility: Available to individuals 18 years and above.

Duration & Payments: Like the Regalia plan, the Akshayanidhi Plus scheme also spans 11 months with a fixed ₹1,000 monthly payment (increments of ₹500 allowed). Payments can be made via cash, card, or online.

Benefits:

  • Gold from Kerala, Bengali, and Bombay styles can be purchased without any making charges.
  • For all other ornaments, a 25% discount on making charges applies.
  • Redemption must be done at Regal Jewellers branches in Kerala.

Conditions:

  • Delayed payments need to be made up within the next installment cycle.
  • If payment is delayed for over 30 days, the scheme lapses, and benefits are forfeited.
  • The scheme continues as per the maturity date, and you must redeem within 30 days of completing your payments.

Which Plan is Right for You?

  • If you prefer no making charges on your gold jewelry: The Regalia Zero Percent Making Charge Plan is a great choice. It’s perfect for those looking to avoid making charges entirely, especially for diamond or premium ornaments.

  • If you want flexibility with discounts: The Akshayanidhi Plus Scheme offers a 25% discount on making charges for most ornaments, but with more specific styles (Kerala, Bengali, and Bombay) eligible for zero making charges.

Both schemes provide an affordable way to accumulate and purchase gold, but your decision should be based on the type of jewelry you’re looking for and how much flexibility you need in making payments.
